LITERARY PRIZE FOR YOUNG ITALIAN AUTHORS OF PUBLISHED FICTION WORKS – 2nd EDITION
The Commune of Correggio, in the Project "Pier Vittorio Tondelli. La lettura, la scrittura", establishes a literary prize for young Italian authors of published fiction works.
1) Fiction works already print published (novels and collection of stories) by Italian authors born after January 1st 1970 can compete. Anthologies of texts by different authors are not taken into account.
2) Those people who intend to take part must fill in the relative application form and send it, together with 10 copies of the work (wheter the result, they will not be given back), to the Prize Secretary's office by september 30th 2005. A copy, at least, of all the participant works will be listed and at disposal of the users of Correggio Municipal Library.
3) A qualified Panel, appointed by the Commune of Correggio, according to its unquestionable judgement, will designate the finalist works (maximum 10) and, among them, the prizewinner.
4) The Commune of Correggio will commit itself to promote initiatives in order to present and to report all the finalist works.
5) The author of the winning work will also receive 1000 € net as prize.
6) The prizegiving ceremony will take place by September 2006.
7) The applications of participation (together with the 10 copies of the concurrent work) will have to be delivered or sent to: "Premio Tondelli per giovani narratori" presso Biblioteca del Comune di Correggio – Corso Cavour 7 – 42015 Correggio (RE).
